Scary Times!

Sometimes not much happens in the course of a week, so i don't bother making a big deal about it. But this week was different. Within the last week, i've tried eating big boy foods... just in time for Halloween. Here's my dad's first attempt at feeding me some of "the good stuff."

... and the verdict is...

ehhh - not so good. Maybe i'll like it better in a couple weeks. But that "spoon airplane" thing is pretty fun! hehe.

And if that's not enough - here are some pics of me on Halloween. Yes... they dressed me up as a Monkey. Who'd have guessed that one?!

here are some more pics of me outside the house waiting for the trick or treaters. Can't wait for that next year. Mmmmm.

WHERE ARE THEY?? I'M GONNA TAKE A NAP IF THEY DON'T GET HERE SOON!!!

... oh well. It was a fun night anyway. There ended up being tons of trick or treaters and i got to go see some good friends. It was kinda a late night but i slept like a brick when i got home.

Till next time. See ya soon!

The Fall Brings New Friends

... Happy Autumn all y'all. My dad says that Autumn is his favorite season of the year. This is my first Autumn so i'm gonna have to wait and see if i agree. The weather is getting cooler and I'm starting to wear jeans and long pants. It's a whole new experience. Here i am at the local pumpkin patch. It was a bit sunny that day but i had so much fun!

I've also been having some fun with some of my new friends. Let me introduce you to them. Here is a picture of me and my friend Tiggy.

I never thought i'd meet anyone who liked kisses more than me, but i was wrong. Tiggy loves kisses too.

I also want to introduce you to my newest friend. He's a puppy and i love him very much. Here we are on the changing table. He likes hugs!

... oh, but don't worry - he likes kisses too. Can you feel the love, people??

Other than that, things are moving right along. I have my 4 month doctor's appointment coming up next week. I think i'm going to get some solid foods started soon. Just wait till you see those pics. Hehehe.

See ya soon!

Tricks & Treats

So, I've been growing like you wouldn't believe. I have a couple of new tricks to show you. Here's my rollover. I've been rolling. Back and forth... back and forth. This one shows me on my belly rockin the pose!

But that's not all. I've also found my thumb. Check it out!

My dad always tells me "monkey see, monkey do" - so who's this monkey, Dad?

As you all can see... the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree. Nice sweater vest dad. Hehehehe.

Other than that - i had a great time in California. Visiting with friends and family. Here i am getting ready for my first plane ride. Up, Up and Away!!

I'm also enjoying the baseball playoffs. Even though my dad doesn't have a team in the hunt for the crown, he is teaching me the finer points of baseball appreciation. I have a feeling i'm going to love this game quite a bit.

I'll make sure to check back in soon! Adios amigos. See that... I'm learning Spanish. Bilingual.

Takin What They're Givin

... cause I'm workin for a livin!

Hello peeps. Time is just flying by and I'm growing by the minute. I'm not quite sure whether i want to be a baseball player or a rock star. So i'll let you guys decide. First, check out my baseball look. I'm gripping the baseball rattle with my left, then my right. My dad makes me use both hands.

Some of you may be asking "Thomas, what uniform do you wear when you play ball"? Well, lately i've been wearing my Trenton Thunder shirt. My dad wears his when Joba pitches - so now i have one too. Check it out.

So that's where my baseball career is headed. As far as my rockstar dream - well, i'm working on that too. The first thing any rockstar needs is "Rockstar Hair" and NO shirt. And when i'm done with my bath - I rock the curls. The ladies love the curls.

The next thing you need is the ability to really belt out a high note! Just like this...

... and last but not least - you need a persona. And i've been studying Ozzy. Check it out - "I... Am... Ironman!"

Ok... haha. Well - those are just a couple of the things i've been working on. As always, there is nothing i like better than nighttime. That's when i get to put on my PJs and get ready for sleepytime. Thanks for checking in. Good Night Moon!

Monkey See, Monkey Do!

So I'm not sure why Dad keeps calling me a Monkey - but my best guess is because all i do is hang around. I'm paying more attention to the little things now and this world seems pretty cool. Here i am posing for the camera. I'm getting the hang of this stuff:

And check out the new chair that i sit in to watch ballgames. It's so great. I love the back support. I can sit up like a big boy!

Someone... and believe it or not.. not my dad... but someone got me these new pajamas that fit me really well. They must have heard that i liked the Yankees. Although - my dad keeps telling me that they are not so good this year. But they fit me sooooo well...

When the game ends and i can't sit up anymore, there's nothing i like better than a good nap. I've actually watched Winky enough to know that the couch is more comfortable than you think.

... and that's where you'll find me for a while. So, i'll catch up with you all soon. Please feel free to drop a note.

Shakin My Money Maker

That's the word these days! I'm exploring music at a mad pace. From Abba to Zappa and everything in between. All on vinyl. All day long.

And i've been working on my dance moves too. Check out this move. I call it "The Frog"

Can you dig it? I thought that you could. Beatles shirt courtesy of my cousin Alex. Shout out!

I know it's been a while since I posted. And clearly i've been doing more than learning about music and dancing. I've actually started to slip into some pretty cool sleeping and eating patterns. And i'm growing more and more everyday. I feel like i have a growth spurt every 3 weeks. Last time i posted i was like 23 inches, and now i'm at least 23.5 or 24 inches. Getting long and strong, y'all.

Sometimes i feel like all i wanna do is eat. And then i just wanna pass out! Wherever i can...

Lately i've been good enough to let others eat as well. And that's when i can rock the bouncy seat. I'm not sure where this thing came from - but it might be my favorite chair. I can dance in it while listening to my favorite cuts.

Well, after a good dance session, i guess it's time to do what i do best. If anyone is looking for me - you know where to find me! Always look for the exposed foot! It's a dead giveaway!

More Fun In The New World

Playtime has picked up considerably. I am rockin my new Gymboree thanks to my Aunt and Uncle. Thanks guys. Check it out!

Hey, wait a sec... what's this? who's that monkey in the mirror?

So yesterday, i was just hangin out - thinking about how to cure world hunger, lower my carbon footprint, and solve the problems in the Middle East. I thought i had it all figured out - but then i got all confused when i heard that the Yankees made a trade for Pudge Rodriguez.

Before long, it was time for bed and i got to wear my new PJs. My dad picked them out. It was probably the best night sleep i had. I got a bath and my curls were in full effect. Check out the little foot covers. How great are these?

Thanks again for checking in. Come back soon for more updates!

Future Stars

On any given night at my house you can hear the wonderful sounds of Hollywood Gossip whipping through the air at 7pm sharp. So i decided that in the spirit of the movie "Zoolander" I would start nicknaming my signature looks. Let me know if you like these:

(1) This one is called "Justice"

(2) This one is called "lady killer"

(3) This one is called "money"

... I am still working on them. It's all new to me. But who knows - maybe someday i'll be a star!

And speaking of future stars, last night i got to watch the Yankees/Red Sox game with my dad and Winky. They always watch baseball together. I love to watch games with them!

Dad wears a Trenton Thunder t-shirt when Joba Chamberlain pitches. He was saying that Joba used to play there. The Thunder are the Yankees minor league team at the Double-A level.

He was explaining to us that Joba is going to be a future star for the Yankees and will probably be their star pitcher when i get a little older. I can't wait. I already like his name. And so does Winky. Check it out:

In all seriousness, I want to thank all of you for asking about us. We are doing well. We hope that these pics are helping you all stay informed as much as possible.

Come back soon!

Getting Comfy

In the last few days, things have started to become a bit more routine. Life keeps throwing curveballs at me, but my dad says if i can just "get a piece and foul it off" I can keep the at bat alive.

So where did i leave off? Well, i've started getting real baths in a bathtub, check it out:

It's been pretty fun - as long as they keep my privates covered. Otherwise, i'm just like other boys when i get into the warm water. Hehe. I think one of my favorite things in life so far is the swaddle after the bath. That's always a really tight one. See what i mean?

After my bath the other night, my dad fed me for the first time. He was pretty excited about it & although i still prefer the "real thing" i like to humor him just the same. Here's a pic:

... and last night i got all ready and put on my uniform for the evening's baseball game. 'Put me in coach!'

It's been a lot of fun around the house the last couple of days. My room is starting to come together and dad has taken on the decorating project! I enjoyed watching him work. He would make funny faces at me! But look at what he's done so far:

He says that, like me, it's a "work in progress." I'm not sure what that means, but i know i've got a little something i'm working on right now. So i'm gonna get going. But remember to come back and check out the updates!

See ya!

The New Life

So this is where it all begins!

Hi everyone! My name is Thomas Caleb Supran and I was born on June 25, 2008. So that makes me about 3 weeks old and already I'm part of the blogosphere. I think for this first ever posting, I'll give you a brief photographic history of my first couple of weeks in this world.

Here's my first day at the hospital:

My dad took a million pictures and tried to send them to everyone he knew. The only thing he didn't quite understand was that I could barely open my eyes.

Anyway, here are a couple of me and my papa and uncle:

Ya know, they really only keep you in the hospital for a couple of days. Before long, they had sent all of us home to make do on our own.

I think everyone handled the transition pretty well. But once again there was dad with that camera!

Here's one of me sleeping on the couch and then rockin the tie dyed!

Within only a couple days of getting home, my dad sat me down for my first baseball game. I think he was in the middle of explaining the value of having a batter who can hit with two outs and runners in scoring position. As you can see, i was paying close attention.

And that's just the beginning. These days we are exploring different kinds of books and music. I can't wait to have my own "review section". But for now - i think i just want to soak it all in and give you guys The Straight Poop.

Check in soon!
